Gillette Stadium came to Northern Energy Services to discuss their lighting situations in their hallways, loading docks, and garages.
During our no cost energy audit we discovered that each area was using high wattage lamps.
Starting with the hallways, we replaced their HID lamps with energy efficient LED lamps. From this simple change, the hallways were better lit
and energy usage was reduced by over 50%.
Next we moved on to Gillette's loading docks. The docks consisted of HID fixtures. By replacing these with high efficiency fixtures,
we were again able to increase total lumen output while reducing overall consumption.
Finally we focused our efforts on the garages which were using metal halide fixtures running 24 hours a day. We replaced these fixtures with new hi lumen
vapor tight fixtures.
